Mojito Monkey Mama's 2 cont'd

well headed out for our appt. with the photographer Wish us luck!!!
Is saying Break a Lens appropriate for meeting with a photographer?

I am so relieved that you all made it easy as to where we will meet on the 10th. More trouble has been caused by folks being too darned polite and it all getting messed up IMO. :cool1: I can easily drive down there from POP as I practically live down that area already. Anyone want a ride?

You and me both. I like to plan stuff in advance and be done with it so I can enjoy myself when it comes time for the stuff to happen. Oh, did you get a chance to look at that site I mentioned? Anything catch your eye on there?

Reminds me, Poohbear, if we do ride you over, someone else will have to take you back. Cool?

Yeah I will finally be able to meet you instead of just talking with you on the phone!!!1:banana:  :dance3:

You are so right Nanc.. Not this year, it will be hugs instead:hug:

Cool......This way I can get my Disney fix since Sept will be my last trip for quite a while (like at least a year and 1/2  )

Goody! Means I dont have to go far to stagger back to bed (the 11th is our EMH morning at MK) and I dont have to leave the other half alone with the brat. Much as he is not my fav person at the moment, not very fair to him to have to babysit on his vacation too. I wouldnt have been able to do Jellyrolls with the kid. ScatCats has a seperate bar area so all is good. Hopefully the jazz muscian that was there in Sept will be playing that nite.

Is there a time for this? I am a very detail oriented person and have an obsessive need to know.

Not sure on the time, I know we will be there around 9pm after BOMA's

*makes an attempt to keep up with thread, passes out* :faint: :faint:

Hang in there FF :rotfl: these biotches can talk up a storm

Great, that gives us time to relax for a bit after dinner and still have fun before we have to leave for nite nite

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: She is not talking about me, I am the good one:angel:

:lmao:

FF, this thread is a bit like riding the teacups, you look forward to it and once you get on you are not sure you can handle it but once you get off you want right back on. Just hang on and enjoy the ride and forget about it making any sense. I am a woman of some experience and I promise you that there will be so many changes that what folks are saying now will be different later so I do not pay a lot of attention until closer to time. :cool1:

MV, you forgot to mention how very modest you are as well. :worship: Site??? I do not know what you refer to. Oh, now I do!! I know nothing about such stuff. I leave it to your talented hands, just need to know where to send the massive amount of small bills you requested. I am running low on printer ink though. :rotfl:

Kellie, as you might remember I do not hear well so talk away. :woohoo:

I just did our bills and such and see that we are mostly on track. I am relieved as I had fallen so far behind I was not sure. We have spent a mere $300 on gas so far this year. Not so sure if I should be happy at so little or depressed cause it means that we have no life at all. :confused3

Mom2Evie,
You said your DH and Dfriend work for the school and I am hoping you don't mind my running this by you. I just got the reason DS was suspended was gross lack of respect for a student. Does that sound right for swearing?

Thanks,
Angela
That sounds to me like precise wording from the student handbook. Your son would have likely read it at the beginning of the school year and signed it. When two students have an altercation, sometimes they send both kids home for things to cool off. I would think that "gross lack of respect" is the excuse they used. If I were you, I would appeal the suspension to the administration and maybe the school board. yes, I realize the teacher has already said he could make up work, but a successful appeal would take it off his record.

I am a nutcase, my mother is a psycho nutcase. I am hoping that part is not heriditory. Which objects do you like the best. I am really having a hard time deciding. FF---what about you, any small multiples of that subject we talked about on the site I had you looking on catch your eye for the scavenger hunt? We need 20-ish.

SHHHHHHH SG---you are not supposed to tell about that...Do you want everyone knowing how we can fund our Disney trips? :rotfl:

OH dont get me started on gas stuff. FF and Poohbear know the deal why I am mad. We may be going from $50 a month in work driving gas costs to close to $200 if the big idiot decides HE wants to change jobs. OH, Hey FF, did I say about the car and renters insurance thru his work (he gets a discount now) it will go up $20 a month if he goes with the other place. When I bring up a valid point (mostly the financial sitch) he pulls this....FINE, I WONT TAKE THE JOB thing. I know what he is doing...trying to guilt trip me and do the poor pitiful me bit. UGGGG>>>>>>>>MEN!:headache:

morning peeps... I just got a call from home.. my dad was admittted and got confined in the hospital... nobody would tell me whats going.. all they said was it is just routine... but I know my dad he is not the complain I wanna go to the hospital type... I am just so discombobulated right now... any happy thoughts is welcome... :sad1:

:faint: I have been on hold now for 45 minutes... it is 8PM their time. I was able to get hold of the doctor. Cat scan was negative, blood work were all negative. They cannot figure out why the left leg is swollen. My dad has a history of enlargement of the varicuse veins. It is infected they way I understand it and that is why they put him for anitbiotic intravenously since the oral meds did not work anymore last week.

Finally got to talk to my dad (I am put back on hold... you would think for a country who makes so much bussiness and gets all our telemarketer jobs would have a better phone system:faint:), he did sound in good spirits but the timbre of his voice... I can hear that there is doubt in it. I hope I am not imagining things. My uncle also made it there which is a relief, he has a better disposition when it comes to emergency like this.

sorry... I know I should just be tuning in on the phone.. but mini downtime like this = on hold listening to the hospital tune = it is making my brain go on overdrive and typing makes my brain thinks of something else... :headache:

thanks Bonzi...

Morning all

Timmy sorry to hear about your dad.:grouphug:

Man we were a chatty bunch yesterday. :) They blocked the site at work and pretty much every other site anyone at work would go on. Man its pretty boring.

Yesterday on my lunch I was driving to Borders and passed a gas station and gas was 4.20 :scared1: Vixie if only I spent 50/month on gas I am more like 50/week.

Well off to let the dog out and go to work. I cant wait 12 more days and I will be at DL.

Have a good day everyone.

He is now on antibiotics, pain meds and muscle relaxant which is why is he talking in riddles now. My mom took over and so far all they can tell me is that he just needed to be there so they can him antibiotic intravenously. Negative for MRSA and other major infections. So far no blockage, all we can do she said is wait for the meds to work... :headache: :sad2:

I am going to try to go to work now... :sad1:

Have a good day peeps... even the weather is yukky rainy and 74

Timmie, I can imagine how you are feeling. You are just like me, you take care of everyone and feel responsible for everyone. All you can do is your best and I would trust your intuition as to how your dad is doing by his voice. Sounds as if he is in the right place though so that he can be taken care of and treated when they figure this thing out. Maybe you can use your computer skills to suss out the symptoms. It is amazing how many times I have been able to do so. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and yours today.

crzykid, they considering opening up a railroad line that they use for the state fair for commuters up in Indy. Sounds like a good idea to me but we live far out in the boonies and the nearest town of size is 15 miles away. I am sure glad that we got a Dollar General store a few years back as we can get the basics. One good side about not going to town often is that I do not spend much. I am content in my tiny world, most of the time. :cloud9: I worry about all of you who have to commute to work and such. We lived through that in the 70's and it was not good.:scared1:

MV, even when I were younger I was never in charge of buying small gifts and such. I just do not know what is cool. You need to ask someone else about such. Electronics I know and books. :) Going to go out and get new printer cartridges. Looks like we will need them. We had a letter of support for the present administration in our paper today. Thanks to them our country is running much more efficiently in that it takes less time to pump $50 worth of gas, buy $100 worth of groceries and such. Gotta look on the good side.

I can do that. I like buying stuff. It's a bad habit.

Sorry, my crappy phone just up and died last night. My DH has been refusing to get new ones. Although we'll have no choice at the end of the year but to get new phones. Nextel will not be renewing our contract anymore.

Timmy, I'm sorry about your dad. I hope he gets better soon. :grouphug:

Rei,
Well when I emailed the principal yesterday he said it would only go in his permenant file till he leaves for high school and then it is removed. Probably because he knows I am the parent who will go before the board and to the superintendant of superintendants and the state board of education to file complaints if need be, so he is going to make sure I know fighting it isn't worth my time. Our rule book is very vague and says unless a child says nothing and does nothing and tries to get away from someone fighting them it is considered self defense which is considered participating in a fight so they can be held responsible as well. I never knew self defense was not allowed or that saying somthing was self defense and IMO that is pretty sad because self defense is the only thing a victim has when they are attacked. I would think being taught to stuff your anger in a bad situation would hurt the victim mentally a lot more than the bully. Now I wonder if that is why there are so many wacked young people who hurt themselves and others when they have so much respressed anger that eventually comes out all at once.

Oh yeah the superintendant is our principals neighbor and drinking buddy so nothing will be done by the superintendant so it would have to go furthur. Its all about who you know in our town. Sadly, our Middle school has had the reputation for over 20 years as being known as a waste of 3 years and lots of tax payer dollars. I agreed with that statement the first month DS was in 6th grade. I have to say thank goodness for the excellent grade school teachers he has and the one excellent teacher he has been lucky to have the last two years in Middle School or he would be learning nothing except how to be a punching bag.

Thanks for the info,
Angela
