Gals, you all do know that I am not good for much of nothing? I could not keep up with any of you if I bought wheelies and that is not a sight anyone wants to see, believe you me. I am great for holding parade seats, sitting and listening to children, can even watch them for a bit cause there are a whole lot of folks on here who know me personally and know where I live if I was tempted to take a few dozen of them home with me.

Here are the plans I am contemplating right now. Some set in stone -

Have to do laundry sometime so the 6th looks good as it will give me some rest before you all arrive. Might I set up something for you since I will be at the resort? I can pick up stuff for folks without cars as well.

We also need a name for the gatherers.. Like "Nancy Gone Wild" or the mama's flies the coocoo's nest" even Bonzi and xyz (this nick cracks me up sorry ) who are not in Pop can be added to the Grand gathering... you Peeps decide... if you want me to do this give me till I get back from my escapades with Nancy this April

What do people who are part of a Grand Gather get that is different?

Now I'm going to see if I can take a nap. Maybe when I wake up I'll be ambitious enough to post my schedule. Went to the Minute Clinic this morning, (doctor isn't open on Saturday). Both my ears are infected. Explains why they hurt. I can't be that sick, they only prescriped amoxcillin. But I don't get the special pink liquid one. lol

I have been so busy lately. Planning a baby shower, my niece coming home and I got a promotion at work so that means more time there and less time on the Dis.

Congrats Poohbear I am so happy for you. Sounds like you gals have a fun time planned for poohbear. We may or maynot do DW again this year. We are going to DL in May so I am not sure yet. When does Free Dining have to be booked by??

June 20th I think but let us know so I can add you to the list!!

Well, I'm back from my exile in Redneck Mecca also known as Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge, TN. Of course, I'm in a beautiful house on the top of a mountain with no internet access for a full 7 days... and smack in the middle of the trip Disney releases free dining. Luckily for me, I trust my BFF with my WDW website login and credit card info. She booked our trip for us on the 10th. Likely I'l fly down there with my daughter after school on Wednesday night (Sept 10 though 14). Kandi will probably fly down early in the day on Wednesday. Pooh if you're interested in Teppan Edo, count us in... there will be three of us if I can talk my husband into letting DD come along. Otherwise, just two of us.

For 7 days in Gatlinburg, we ate in some fabulous restaurants, hiked & rode horses through the Smoky Mtn National Park, played mini golf, drove go carts, etc. It really was a really nice week overall, but frankly a couple of days too long. One good thing to come out of this week was my husband realizing that almost any vacation is as expensive as Disney. Even he compared several things we did with Disney and those things came up WAY short. It took all the will power I possess to NOT keep saying out loud that I'd rather have been in Disney. Heck, I didn't even tell him that we've booked the Sept. trip yet. Sigh....

Yea the dogs said I have to pee I have to pee please let me out!! so they are eating right now and I am going to kick Luca's behind if he don't behave he is trying to play to rough with our male cat. Sammy (cat) went yesterday with us to do "cat testing on the greyhounds at the adoption center so he is not liking dogs at the moment especially after 2 of the dogs tried to eat him the dogs did have guards on the mouths so the wouldn't hurt sammy but the one dog got whacked pretty good.

I hoped kellie liked her sleep over and gave you a night of rest. What did you do with no child????

OH Janelle said that she will go on the 26th with me and my aunt(doing that surprise birthday thing) and get measured and order dress then and I will order Timmy's then too.

WE BOOKED THE DJ TOO for 380 and Mike is going to be doing a little side project for him and that will take some more off our bill how is that!!1

Shawn spent the evening watching the Nascar race. I was upstairs watching tv and went to bed around 9:30 out of boredom, I couldn't even tell you what time he came to bed...so it had to have been late! What a waste of a child free night!

So Janelle is still in huh, well that's good!

I tried to get fitted and my dress on order yesterday, but the place was MOBBED....prom time! I'll try again next weekend or the following week...I plan on taking a day or two off during the week of school vacation, to spend a little extra time with Kellie. So my dress will be on order before the end of this month!

Back is still killing me so I guess I will skip the wedding shower today. I think that an ambulance taking me away might ruin the ambiance and it sure would not do a thing for me.

Pooh, I have you down to join me, you know where, on September 8th. I think I can fit in about 4 others or so also. Cat testing? Please educate me? Are you going to post a picture of your wedding dress if we promise not to show it to Mike?

I have figured out one more thing I am good for. I do not do thrill rides and I usually pick up FP's any old way to hand out to deserving guests when I am walking around. The first people to come up to me in any park and say "Can of Corn" will win those prized passes!

Mom2Evie, did you go to Dollywood? If so, did you like it? I am thinking it would be a big letdown for us DIS fans plus I already live rural and do not get thrilled at such. There used to be a restaurant on the main drag, left side, that had a big fish tank where you got to pick out your own fish. My hubby loved that place. That and the Log Cabin Pancake place. Food is it for him.

You can see some of the Schoolhouse Rock on Youtube. I am presently using the periodic table one for my grandson. He loves music and learning. Who says learning has to be boring? You can find better instruction online than in the classroom most of the time and the kids would greatly benefit from it IMO. What I do not know I can Google.

I cannot believe that I do not have nary a tag to my name. Sheer verbosity should count for something. Heaven knows I have said enough silly stuff that something should have jumped off the page and bit the tag fairy where the sun does not usually shine and prompted him/her to permanently attach it to my name to force me to own up to my shameful antics.

Mom2Evie, did you go to Dollywood? If so, did you like it? I am thinking it would be a big letdown for us DIS fans plus I already live rural and do not get thrilled at such. There used to be a restaurant on the main drag, left side, that had a big fish tank where you got to pick out your own fish. My hubby loved that place. That and the Log Cabin Pancake place. Food is it for him.

We didn't go to Dollywood, I'm not sure I could stomach the place. They did have the seasoning opening parade while we were there on Friday evening. We didn't attend, but stayed up on our mountain and out of the traffic. We did Dolly's Splash Country a couple of years ago. I did research on how many things they had for my 4 year old to do, etc. They had teen agers playing on the stuff for wee ones. I had to stand over her all day & pick her up out of the water each time one of them knocked her down. It was such a waste of time & money, I'm still aggravated about it!
