I love Mexican food and just found out there's a Moe's near me. What kind of restaurant is it? Is it like Taco Bell or a nicer sit-down place? How's the food?

We love Moe's. It is definitely better than Taco Bell but is still very casual. You order and follow your food down an assembly line where you can tell the workers exactly how you want your food. Their dishes are named after characters from shows like Seinfield or Caddy Shack (my husband likes the Billy Barou). Some locations are better than others but I would reccomend it.

I agree with the previous poster. IMO it's MUCH MUCH MUCH better than Taco Hell!

The only thing I will warn you though, the burritos are GIGANTIC!!! Just be prepared!

They are fast food, but I think much better than Taco Bell. The food is made to order. The burritos are HUGE. I love the quesadillas. You have your choice of chicken, ground beef, steak or pork. Also the choice which kind of bean, black or pinto. Their menu is at moes.com. I love them. They make their macho chips fresh on site. You have your choice of salsas at the salsa bar. I might have to go there tomorrow. They are very close to my office. HHHMMM, quesadilla for lunch tomorrow.

We just walked in the door from dinner at Moe's. It's our family favorite and I haven't had to cook on a Monday night in about three years...

We LOVE Moe's!!! We always go on Tuesdays - kids eat free with an adult meal. As the others said the burritos are HUGE. I get a kids meal sometimes, and that is big also. Everything is delish there.

If Taco Bell was a Ford Pinto, then Moe's is a Bentley. You can't even compare the two. Very yummy, yet still casual. I would place it in the "fast casual" category, a step up from true fast food.

MOES ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOCKS! Everything is fresh, the chips are great, the salsa is great, too! I usually get a taco (comes with chips) and a small side of queso, then fill up on salsa and a soda and that is good for me for lunch. I love the garlicky green salsa type stuff they have as well...anybody know what it's called?

We LOVE LOVE LOVE Moe's. We eat there at LEAST 1x/week. Good coupons in the Valpack most months. We can eat there for under $25, incl drinks.

I usually get a streaker burrito, w/ extra lettuce--Like a taco salad but cheaper. The nachos are also yummy.

Also they have a new medium size burrito, which is the perfect size. Also chips come w/ meals so no need to order extra.

I am not such a fan of Moes, to be honest. Better than Taco Bell, but not by much. For some reason, their food gives me migraine's. No idea why, but every time after I ate there, I would get an awful migraine. I much prefer Chipotle.

They're ok. Better than Taco Bell, but less variety and more expensive. Not our favorite. A bit loud and not big fans of the decor and noisiness, but we don't avoid it if friends want to go. I find most of those Moe's/Qdoba/Chipotle type places about the same. I much prefer to go to a sit down Mexican place for just a few dollars more and get a real meal. It's almost $20 for two people at Moe's - I can get more food for less than $25 at most sit-down Mexican places and get sides to go with my burrito...

we love Moe's!!!!

DD used to want to go to Taco Bell all the time - yuck. Now we are all happy!

they have great vegetarian options - along with the bean choices, they also have marinated tofu!

I don't like doing any of the usual fast food places like McDonalds, etc. Also, we don't have too many Mexican places around here - we have Salsaritas, but Moe's is better.

I agree, it isn't Mexican but more south west tex mex. Hubby prefers taco bell, we both prefer sit down Mexican restaurants.

We like Moe's. I love their salads. The queso is good too.
