MODS: Ignore THIS! (Respectfully, of course...)

No offense, but why did you guys delete our "Ignore This..." thread??? Yes, while I certainly can understand why a thread like that doesn't belong on this Board [I never DID get why it was here in the first place!], why wasn't it just moved to the CB?? We would just like an explanation please... THANKS!

I would like our thread back. How else am I supposed to know when Otter Day is? I know my daughter is the one who originally informed me of it, but I forgot to write down the date. The records of all otter day celebrations are held in the original ignore this thread. Without it, I will be forced to make up a new date.

Honestly, it was a nice thread. Cheap entertainment (it was entertaining to read and post on) would make it appropriate for the BB. Moving it to the CB is great, too, because we chat about anything and ignore each other.

Please bring our thread back.

Man, I wasn't even very involved in the Ignore this thread and I'm annoyed that it is gone! I think I posted in it once and it cracked me up how often it got bumped to the front and showed up in my subscribed threads with new info! I will miss the thread, even if I couldn't keep up with it!

Our thread started out the way many threads do, OP posted something and then changed her mind and deleted her original OP and asked that her thread be ignored. We just happened along and decided there were many things we'd like to ignore, so we set out sharing our ignore lists with each other. Last time any of the regulars checked in, there was nothing offensive about that thread. (Actually we have another thread for offensive things ). So we're not sure why it poofed completely.

If we can't have that one back, can we start a new one (on the CB)? Don't want anyone to thing we're circumventing the moderators on the boards, just don't know why it was poofed and would hate to start a new one and get in trouble for it.

And that is the beauty of such threads. You don't need to keep up. Just arbitrarily jump in and post when you have a few minutes. No obligation or your money back.

Actually, I'm pretty sure it started as a way to rack up posts to send a pm. She really did want us to ignore it. I say this as someone there from page one. It really was meant to be ignored.

Lots of people weren't ignoring it. It was fun and entertaining and always made me smile.
