modifying reservation problems.

I had a reservation for 2/6-12 at CCV made with Feb.2021 points on a contract I owned. I have since bought a resale CCV with same use year , which shows up under same membership in my account. This contract had 75 2020 Feb. points which I banked into 2021. One contract ends in .0 and the other in .1. I thought I could modify my reservation to use the banked points first but the system will not let me. It has the .0 contract locked as having to use first, so all my 2021 points are used before going to .1 contract with banked points. Is this correct, that when modifying reservation the contract on the original reservation is always locked to be used first?

Just choose both contracts and then follow through to the end. The reason it is locked is because you booked during home resort priority.

Now that you own the same resort, it should pull from the new one once you go to rebook it.

Once it is rebooked, and you check, it should pull the banked points. You may get a message before you actual book that makes it look like it won’t, but it always does.

I did get the message and it looked as if they were using all the original points first just before the final confirmation so was chicken to rebook but after your advice, i went all the way through and the banked points were used and able to save 2021 points

I do not know why it does that! But, it always works in the end!
