Modifying my ADR

My Dad is joining us midweek for our President's week vacation. I changed a few ADR's. My Rose & Crown ADR, Disney Dining was unable to change. I was adding one from 6 to 7 people. Have seem Illuminations from here before and wanted Dad (84) to be able to experience it from there. Has this happened to anyone? Any suggestions? Thanks.

That frequently happens. Best you can do is show up with him and ask if they can accommodate you, but have a backup plan in case they can't. And keep checking the website for an opening for 7.

We've had unexpected friends join us several times for an ADR. I have always just gone to check in at the restaurant and explained the situation very nicely, and they have always found us a bigger table.
