*Modified*:New Package code for Disney Visa holders

[B... What good is it to hold rooms waiting for a discount to come out? I wait until there is a rate I can live with. If discounts come out after that and my DU agent gets me the better rate great. If not then I ALREADY have a rate I can deal with. What incentive does Disney have to come out with AP rates when rooms are already booked? Or come out with codes that are meant for specific areas when they get broadcast? I think in some ways this posting of codes is actually going to end up hurting Disney and in turn there will be less discounts. ... [/B]

Words of wisdom.

Thank you! I'll do that next time.

What? I don't want to start a future locked thread here, but I disagree. So far all I've seen on these boards related to the Disney Visa is just bitterness by those who were denied for the card and bitterness by those who thought that they deserved like a 10% Disney Dollar rebate and therefore consider the 1% to be an outrage.

That's sooo not what I meant. Just to set the record straight, I was neither denied, nor wanted another credit card. We find our mileage cards work better for us.

Now that said, I just think that everyone seems so protective about the Disney Visa and the codes marketed towards them. Beth was just trying to do a nice thing.

I guess I'm a little disappointed that all this new marketing is moving away from the annual passholders.

Believe me the last thing I want is another locked thread. I'll delete that line, since obviously it will start needless flaming.

Lizzie64,

Sorry I dragged you down with me...LOL!!! :teeth:

Lizzie64,

Sorry I got my feathers ruffled with my earlier post. I actually wasn't directing the complaining that I was describing towards you. I'm just getting a bit tired of all the negativity that has been going on on these boards lately. I was probably a bit over the top, especially with the "anti-christ" comment  (which I've since modified). Anyway, sorry to launch that scud! No hard feelings I hope. :D
