I just saw this on allearsnet.com

Effective July 1, 2007, Disney modified its Business Casual Dress Code at its premier restaurants to include t-shirts. The guidelines, which originally went into effect July 2005, still prohibit hats, swim suits, swim suit coveralls, tank tops, torn clothing or flip-flops. Suggested attire includes dress shorts, pants, jean pants, collared shirts, blouses, sweaters. Restaurants now requiring Business Casual dress include: Artist Point (Wilderness Lodge), California Grill (Contemporary), Citricos and Narcoossee's (Grand Floridian), Jiko (Animal Kingdom Lodge), Flying Fish (Boardwalk), and Yachtsman Steakhouse (Yacht Club).

Thanks for posting, Allison.

Interesting and I think appropriate that Bistro de Paris and Brown Derby aren't on the list as having dress codes although one would hope that any diner at any restaurant could manage to meet those very minimum standards.

It should also clear up any problems like those posting that they couldn't be seated at AP without a collared shirt.

BTW, my guys always wear collared shirts even in the parks but this should make it clearer for everyone.

That should be helpful information for some....though DNephew13 will still be wearing his new Mickey tie to our Cali Grill dinner.

I don't understand - when it says "include" T-shirts does it mean that t-shirts or okay now or not. I didn't think they were okay before so I would think they can be worn now but I'm confused by the wording. It still suggests a collared shirt in the list, which it did before. So what exactly is the change?

I read it as tshirts are okay.

Since many people wore t-shirts anyway, this just confirms the "policy" to what's really going on.

That's about the size of it. Sounds like T's aren't formally prohibited (not that they REALLY were anyway)--sounds like they just aren't "suggested".
