OK. I'm looking for examples of famous modern day Renaissance Men (or women). If you don't know what that means - think of Leonardo Davinci (painter, inventor, scholar, etc.), Ben Franklin (statesman, inventor, writer, etc.), Oprah Winfrey, Ronald Reagan.
I'm trying to put together a presentation on something called "learning agility" - some people just aren't afraid to try new things and are generally successful at whatever they try.
These need to be really famous people that most people (a global audience) would recognize.
IDEAS?!!!
Thanks in advance.
ADDED:
Here's a quote on Learning Agility to help you think in the right direction...
People who rate high in Learning Agility are more at ease with the idea of reinventing themselves. They see themselves as continuously evolving and are constantly looking to improve Not only do they display intellectual curiosity, but they quickly process new information and learn from their experiences and mistakes. They also often display a wide range of interests. Benjamin Franklin's bespectacled face could have appeared on a poster for Learning Agility.
