moderates at christmas time

what is the best moderate to stay at during christmas time

I have never stayed at the mod. during Christmas, but am sure that someone here either has stayed there or visited.


However, I wanted to say Welcome to the DIS!!!!

I'd vote for Port Orleans, either Riverside or French Quarter -- Because of the boats to Downtown Disney. DD is all decorated, and Santa is there, and lots of Christmas events......Since you have to take a bus from any of the mods to the parks, I think the
boat is the one plus for PO--------All of the moderates are nicely decorated - Not as lavishly as the deluxes (the 5 story tree aand gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian is so beautiful!!), but
hopefully you'll have the time to tour the deluxe resorts while you're there..........Christmastime at WDW is extra magical...........

It really doesn't matter whether or not it's Christmas to pick which moderate. That said. I had a wonderful Christmas week at CBR a few years ago. I also toured CSR at Christmastime and had family spend a few nights there Christmas Week another year, they do a beautiful job decorating the public areas of the resort.

CSR has outstanding decorations, the number of poinsetias this past year was amazing! The decorations here surpassed most of the deluxes.
