Moderate with the largest room, privacy in room, etc?

Will the LM rooms never be done in the preferred section? That would be great to know. So other thing is would they definitely accommodate 1st floor request (I cannot climb stairs).

They just finished a refurb of all the rooms at the CBR and the LM rooms are all in the Trinidad section, they were the former Pirate rooms. I don't think they will be expanded to the other parts of the resort, at least not anytime in the near future. The first floor would only be a request, but half the rooms are on the first floor (2 story buildings). I would advise you call and make the request for a first floor if you decide to stay there and also specify you do not want a LM room. On your arrival day go to the front desk first thing, and ask if your room is on the first floor. If it is not, they may have the ability to change the assigned room. You may have to wait until actual check in time, but I am sure they will do their best to accommodate you.

We loved POFQ. It's very small, so it isn't a far walk to the QS and the bus stop from any of the buildings though we loved how close building 4 is to the central area. I was in a two queen room that had a table and chairs and a double sink - if I recall, there was a curtain separating the sink/bathroom area from the bedroom area. You can request a ground floor, but there are also elevators. I'm not sure what your dates are - I know the pool is being re-done early next year so just double check dates if you are interested in booking.

Generally Disney doesn’t change much about the pool during these refurbs, they just dig it out and replace it with something very similar...

Another big fan of CSR but I don't do the tower. It's not worth the bump up in price to me. Sometimes I will get a preferred room if I can get a good discount. The only problem with the non-tower rooms is you do have to walk outside at some point to get to the main building but you have to walk outside at all the moderate resorts.

In CSR Preferred rooms you can walk to El Centro under cover.
