What is a moderate with the largest room, double sinks and privacy if possible for the bathroom area, a small table and chairs in the room, with decent transportation and with the ability to have preferred location that's not a mile from quick service, etc? Beautiful calming grounds, super fun pools, nice quick service with seating, etc? Also need guaranteed first floor or elevators.

I had great luck at POFQ
and I believe the Coronado and or their CL rooms are pretty nice, my wife keeps trying to drag me there

A Deluxe.

But if that’s out of price range temper down your expectations for “super fun pools” and “decent transportation” and CSR might fit. If anyone is showering in the tower the whole bathroom is off limits, unlike the preferred rooms which aren’t as convenient but the shower toilet area can be partitioned off from the sinks.

Ok....kind of been figuring that. We do stay Deluxe, just wanted to do a split stay as I love some of the moderate resorts but find the rooms lacking some vital features for us.

CBR - can't beat the skyliner, fun pool, beautiful grounds
I would love to stay here! But I need a guaranteed table and chair in the room. I cannot sit comfortably on a bed. I see after the renovations, they removed them from the 5th sleeper rooms. Also, I would need guaranteed first floor since there are no elevators.

The tower @ Coronado Springs Resort
Coronado Springs Tower is the only location that can meet all your requirements. AND it is the deluxe of the moderates with lots of extras none of the other moderates have.

Are you booking a 5th sleeper room? If you need sleeping for 5 that cuts out Coronado Springs.
POR also does not have an elevator. 5th sleeper is a bookable category so if you don't need that 5th sleeper your room would have a table and chairs.

I would highly recommend the Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs. The tower is like a deluxe hotel- a little pricier than the normal rooms in the resort but worth it I think. There are so many dining options at the resort. Plus you could always go for the Club Level option.

The grounds are lovely and most nights we strolled round then sat with a coffee in our refillable mug in a rocking chair by the lake.

Another big fan of CSR but I don't do the tower. It's not worth the bump up in price to me. Sometimes I will get a preferred room if I can get a good discount. The only problem with the non-tower rooms is you do have to walk outside at some point to get to the main building but you have to walk outside at all the moderate resorts.

I watched some YouTube videos and didn't seem to think POFQ had a private bathroom area unfortunately.
POFQ has a curtain separating the bedroom from the double sink area and then the toilet and tub are separated from the sink area. They still have a table with 2 chairs and they have elevators.
Since, you will not be able to be guaranteed a ground floor room at any resort, you will definitely need a resort with elevators.
CSR pool area is just as good and in some cases better than some of the Deluxe pools. CSR have preferred buildings that are close to the lobby and food area, plus now that they have added the 3 bridges, it is also not bad to walk to the pool area like in the past.

OP never stated a fifth sleeper as a requirement.
No it's not but I would only book a preferred category. And they have the preferred as 2 queen beds or 5th sleeper. So if I got a sleeper room, may not have the table and chairs. Seems you cannot choose which room if you choose preferred.

The Little Mermaid rooms at CBR don't have the table and chairs, but the other 5th sleeper rooms do. However CBR does not have elevators - though the sink area is now behind barn doors, not a curtain as it used to be. The Little Mermaid rooms are not in a preferred area, so if you booked a preferred room, you would not get a LM room.

Will the LM rooms never be done in the preferred section? That would be great to know. So other thing is would they definitely accommodate 1st floor request (I cannot climb stairs).
