I am sure this has been asked so I do apologize but what moderate has the best bus service? We have stayed at the BC so a bus was not really needed. My husband is not looking forward to the bus but the Beach Club is not in the cards this time around. :( TIA

I Think with the busses it's a hit or miss. On both our trips to POR and POFQ, the bus service was very good but others have said that the service was horrible when they were there. Good luck in whatever you choose:)

We had great bus service at CSR and cbr recently. I have read horrible bus reviews on both. Our personal worst experience was while staying at BW and sharing with swalphin, yc/BC. I agree with the PP, you never know and it's hit or miss. Pick the resort you want for theme and hope for the best.

The only Moderate we stayed at was POR and the bus system was awesome! We would definitely stay there again.

We've stayed at both POR and CSR, and while POR bus service is very good, it does share with POFQ and can take a bit longer in the evening.

CSR bus service, we found, to be excellent. CSR does not share buses with other resorts and we found our wait times minimal and our travel time quick as possible. :thumbsup2

For what it's worth, we stayed at each resort during the very busy Thanksgiving week. Hope this helps a little. Good luck! :wave2:

We have stayed at both CSR and POR during Spring Break, and the buses were MUCH better at CSR.

I go to WDW 4-6 times a year and have pretty much settled on the moderates as my resorts of choice. I have stayed at all four more than once in just the last few years. CSR seems to consistently have the best bus service.

CSR may possibly have a slight edge simply because it is also a convention resort..so more adults staying there, but quite possibly not going to parks. Or may very well have cars.
But in all reality??? I wouldn't try to choose a resort based on their buses. Way too much room for error. I have stayed at POR 4 times now...and I have yet to have any kind of issue with buses there. But, others have reported having problems.

:surfweb: Agree with everyone that it's hit or miss. But it looks like you have 3 children? Is one under 3 and in a crib? If not, POR Alligator Bayou might be your option.

The only mod we've stayed at is CBR and we thought the bus transportation was great. There are 4 or 5 internal stops, but there is no sharing with any other resort. Also, CBR is centrally located so it didn't take more than about 10 minutes to get to any theme park, water park, or DTD. In our experience, having stayed at CBR and all but 3 of the deluxe resorts, CBR has by far been the best when it comes to the buses :thumbsup2.

There isn't one. At any resort at any time, there can be good bus service, or bad bus service.

If you mean fewer stops, that award would go to POFQ, but only when it doesn't share buses with POR, which it does sometimes. POR has five bus stops, CSR has four, CBR has seven.

Based on my own experiences at all four resorts, if I were to choose based strictly on bus service, I'd choose CSR.

Of the mods, I have stayed twice at CSR and once at POFQ. The buses were far superior at CSR. Always seemed to have less people and came frequently.

We have stayed at CSR, CBR, and POR, we found the service at CSR to be the best overall.

We always thought the busses at CBR were great. We've stayed there numerous times and, I can't think of one time that I was ever waiting long for a bus.

I agree with the majority. I have never had anything bad to say about CSR, bus service was great. I like the resort better than the Poly! It's one of my favorite resorts...

Agree with the PP who had the question about the age of your youngest child. If she is 3 or older then POR (Alligaor Bayou) is the only mod. resort that can accommodate you.

we have stayed at riverside, cbr, and csr. honestly, i have to say for our trip the worst bus service was at csr when we went last september. each day we had 45-75 minute waits to get to the parks (we timed it). coming back from the parks we had hardly no wait at all. but other people who went during the time we did said the bus service was amazing. loved csr (it is my favorite). loved the staff there, the amenities, and the resort, but the transportation is why we are not going back this year. when i stayed at riverside or cbr usually we had 10-15 minute waits.

Please don't base your hotel choice on bus service. You will find negative and positive bus service reviews for every hotel.

when we stayed at the POFQ the wait wasn't bad at all going/coming and the walk back to the room was just as good. for a moderate, i LOVE this place.
