Moderate W/ Best Transportation ???

Which Moderate has the best transportation to the parks ??

We stayed at PORFQ many years ago (1998) and the buses were horrible. We waited a long time and often buses were almost full when they got to us.

Sorry you had a bad time at pofq....

I thought the buses were great at pofq....I always got a seat....
It was the people at POR who had to stand....

I would think CSR dosen't share so it might be better for you.

CSR Transportation
CSR has tremendous transportation. Buses are frequent throughout the resort and each village has their own bus stop. Also, CSR doesn't share their buses with any other resort, which is a HUGE plus! CSR is centrally located (see map below) making the trips to Blizzard Beach, Animal Kingdom, MGM and Epcot very quick, at most a 10 minute ride. Magic Kingdom and Downtown Disney are a bit further. To get to the Boardwalk, take a bus to MGM and then take the boat over to the Boardwalk.

Buses at the Resort
Theme park buses go in this order of bus stops:
2 - Casitas
3 - Ranchos
4 - Cabanas
1 - El Centro

Downtown Disney buses go in this order of bus stops
1 - El Centro
2 - Casitas
3 - Ranchos
4 - Cabanas

CSR buses go in this order so that guests can hop on board a theme park bus from bus stop 2, 3, or 4 and ride it to the main building. Then you can hop on a DtD bus to get back to your room.

I agree.

CBR has 7 bus stops.
PO has 5 bus stops 1st stop POFQ and than 4 stops at POR.
CSR has 4 stops.

Regardless... the wait times for buses should be shorter and the buses should be
running more efficiently by this fall when the new GPS dynamic bus routing system is fully up and running.

Regardless.. this will all be changing with the new GPS dynamic bus routing. No bus will be 'dedicated' to anything. They'll all be routed and scheduled dynamically based on need at that exact point in time.

That new bus routing system is due to be implemented in phases this year. Most of it should be in place by the fall.

Basically it's a GPS system that will track all buses (and number of guests aboard) at all times.. in coordination with a computerized routing and scheduling system that works 'on the fly'.

CSR!! It's not shared like POR/POFQ and only 4 stops vs 7 at CBR. Shorts rides to the parks too. 5 mins to MGM and AK, 7 mins to Epcot and 10 mins to MK.

i agree with the others that the buses at CSR are very good. short wait times, less crowded then the others, and short distances to each of the parks.

That's the reason we keep going back to CSR. The transportation is the BEST! Never had to stand up on the bus to or from the park. Short rides.

I've stayed at POR the past 2 Septembers and am going back to stay there this September. We have never had a problem with transportation there. In regards to sharing a bus with POFQ I think that we only dropped off there once in all the many days we were there.

Just got back from Disney and stayed at POFQ. I really liked it. FQ side is smaller then Riverside, which is one of the things that I liked best. I suggest building #5 , very close to everything. I would stay there again.

The buses were never a problem. FQ always got picked up first, so we always had a seat. And everytime, but one, we were the first to be dropped off.
