Moderate vs. Value??!! Don't think so.....

We love POFQ over any other mod but I must say CSR has never grabbed my families attention for a resort stay.

Wow! Three other people got the same impression as I did of the Pepper Market employees. The Pepper Market is the biggest reason why I refuse to return to CSR. I thought the food was o.k., but each of the three times I visited during my last stay there the employees were awful!

Notice I didn't say "CMs" - the food service at CSR is not disney-operated (or at least it wasn't during my stay). I think they could benefit from some of the famous Disney customer service training.

Glad to see others have had similar experiences here - when I've posted about my experience at the Pepper Market before I've been led to believe I was crazy or something because everyone else just luvvs the Pepper Market.

We experienced rude CM's at CSR, too. Mostly in the gift shop, but none of them were very nice in the PM or registration area either. I will not return there for that and other reasons.

the whole thing is just so personal. we had stayed at cbr and hated it, mainly because it was so spread out. we had to walk and walk to get to the central spot and even to get to our pool was a walking chore. now i know that this very same reason we will not go back is the very reason the next person will go back, that this is exactly what they want. at the pop, at most, you need only walk two minutes to get to the main building and the pools are always right outside your room. this makes it seem crowded and close, the reason we like it and the reason some others don't. we do not need fancy pools with lots of water gadgets, we do not need being served a sit down meal with a waiter. i'll serve my self and save 20 minutes, appeals to me, maybe not you. and while i am using the value resort i like, i'm saving money over the mods. i can afford mods, even top of the line. i prefer the amenities of the values.
as i said, its all so personal.

We have never stayed at a value before but have stayed at the Mod's a few times. Our trip this past spring was to CSR and we LOVED it! Thought the resort, theming, food etc. was all perfect for US. That doesn't mean it floats everyone's boat! Here are some pics of our room, which was a king bed room in the Casita's.

Awesome pics, thanks for sharing! Is that a suite room? Never seen a closet in the regular rooms at CSR but I never had a king room either.

CSR is by far the best mod never mind the values. It has the best transportation, food and main pool area. It's awesome!!

Sorry about that bummer stay. We upgraded from All Stars to Carribean and I have to agree that I like the All Stars better too.
