Hi All --

We are traveling to WDW in June with our food-allergic 4-year old as part of a larger group. Budget has dictated that we stay at a moderate resort and we are now in the process of trying to decide which one. Anyone have positive or negative feedback for dining with food allergies in a specific moderate (whether it be CS or TS)?

Thanks!
Heather

I would skip Coronado Springs as the restaurant and food court are not Disney owned and operated and may be less likely to have the training Disney gives its chefs.

Agreed....I'd choose any of the other three and then I'd contact the chef in advance to note the allergies, esp. if special products are needed. I have a friend with several severe food allergies who travels frequently to WDW and she has always been accommodated by the food court chef at all the Disney resorts including having her meals prepared in a safe skillet with particular oils, no gluten or dairy, etc.---Kathy

We stayed at CBR last Dec. with my dd who at the time was severe dairy, corn, tree nut, shellfish, and quite a few others. We filled out the forms ahead of time and had no issues getting her food. They do carry divvies if that's an option for snacks for the little one.
Good Luck, we had a FANTASTIC time in a Pirate room and never had to use any epi pens. We did have to use some Benedryl a couple times when dd forgot to use her towels and used Disney's. She's really sensitive to soaps too!
