I'm just looking for some feedback on Moderate Priced Resorts. We stayed at Caribbean Beach this past November and liked it....I'd like to try Port Orleans in December 2008. How was your experience there? I'm not sure if we should try French Quarter or Riverside...I will be traveling with my teenage daughter. Give me your thoughts. Thanks!! :surfweb:

It really is all about personal tastes but I have to say that my family would agree with Buzz...we've stayed at POR & CSR & CSR wins for us, hands down!! Beautiful themeing, well kept gardens, great pool, awesome TS restaurant & great CS meals. Overall, just a nicer place in my opinion.

Ditto on the choice of CSR. Love the landscaping, the quiet pools, the dining options and the "quietness" after being at the parks all day.

We have only been to WDW once, and enjoyed our stay at POR. We had a Mansions area room, and had a close walk to the bus stop. A bit further to the restaurants, but that was ok.

Next time, we want to stay somewhere else, just to see another resort.

We have stayed at both POR and CSR and quite honestly, you would be very happy with either one. They are both wonderful resorts. They are large resorts, which sets POFQ (which we also stayed at) apart from them. POFQ is a much smaller resort.

After determining the size you are looking for you might have an easier time making a decision.

If you are interested in one of the bigger resorts, BUZZ has a wonderful site on CSR, check it out. I don't know of anyone who has a site dedicated to POR.

I love PO Riverside. It's simply a beautiful resort. I've always stayed in Alligator Bayou section. The theming is incredible.

We stayed at POFQ last February -- me, DH, and DD 12, DD 14. We absolutely loved it. It was small and manageable, and very relaxing. Our room looked out onto the most beautiful courtyard. The free boat to Downtown Disney was incredible. We used it A LOT. There is only 1 bus stop, so it's a quick walk back to your room. I highly recommend it.
