Which would you suggest? December sounds appealing with the rates dropping and the crowds being low, but what will the weather be like? Anyone have luck swimming in December? On the other hand, many people have stated that November is there favorite time to go and the moderates look like great resorts too! What would you do? Thanks! ::MinnieMo

I don't think I would plan my vacation based on the weather. We have been tio Disney in January when it was 85 degrees and we have been in April when it was freezing. The beginning of Dec is a really nice time to go- you will get to see the Christmas decorations with low crowds. The mods are great, but deluxe cannot be beat!!

I agree, do not plan it around the weather. You never know what it will be like. The pools are heated so swimming will not be a problem, but the walk back to the room might. I live in Florida and have been swimming on Christmas day before so you never know.

Go December, low crowds, Christmas lights are up , my favorite time to go.

Weather can be all over the place in Nov/Dec ish. It could be warm one day, cool that night and totally cold the next day. During that time frame you really need to pack for just about anything.

I've been at both times of the year and have enjoy each time. If you go in November, you'll get to experience the Food & Wine festival at EPCOT. Plus the crowd levels are pretty low. We noticed alot of the resorts getting their holiday decorations up. Weather is not bad, although we had a little rain on some days when we were there in 2004.

Going in December is great for viewing all the parks & resorts with all their holiday decorations, as well as the Candlelight Processional and the Arch of Lights at EPCOT. The weather is hit or miss. Been there when it was in the 80's during the day, but have also been when the high was about 50 and pretty chilly early in the morning and at night.

I'd say be prepared for anything. Does not hurt to bring a sweatshirt and pants (and those little stretchy gloves), just in case.

I agree with what everyone has said about the weather. To give you an idea, we went last Dec 2-11, and the kids swam every day. It was mid 80's. The day after we left though, I heard that it was cool. 50's. So you just never know.

Don't forget, if you go in December you'll have the Christmas decorations, as well as MVMCP. December gets my vote!!!! :earsboy:
