Hi!

Can anyone tell me if any of the moderate resorts have rooms with a door to the sink/vanity area, and not just a curtain? I stayed at FQ last year for a couple of days and was in a "king" room. It had a door, but from looking at the pics it seems most rooms (if not all) with 2 beds have the curtain.

I know, crazy question, but Im always the first one up and would like to start getting ready in peace before my daughter wakes up! I dont want to wake her up by running water, brushing my teeth etc.... its my only quiet time of the day!! When Im at Disney I get ready and go for a little walk before going back to the room and waking everyone else up! I need 2 rooms this year so deluxes are not an option. :)

TIA

POR AND POFQ both have curtains. Those are they only 2 I've stayed at.

CSR has sliding wood doors. I always woke up before my husband and son. I would just pull those doors closed and get ready for the day. I made all kinds of noise and it never bothered them.

....Sorry to post from a competitor site but didn't see it on wdw info :confused3

CBR also has the curtains, not doors. I think CSR is the only moderate with the wood closing doors.

One of the best features at Coronado Springs! It makes a huge difference.

Those doors look great. I am not a fan of the curtains at CB. However, I only go to Disney with adults now, so noise is really not a problem.

The only rooms that have a door at POR/POFQ instead of a curtain are handicap accessible rooms. Some rooms are fully handicap accessible (no tub) while some are only partially accessible. If you were in a partially accessible room, you may not have even noticed you were in an accessible room. These rooms have the sink, toilet and tub/shower in one room with a door that shuts rather than a separate vanity area with a curtain like the standard rooms have.

Some of the king bed rooms at POR and POFQ are the handicapped accessible rooms. You had a door because you had the accessible room.

Hmmmm! I wish I remembered the details! I definitely had a door and yes, the sink, toilet and tub were all in one HUGE room! I didnt notice any extra railings and definitely had no idea I may have been in a handicap accessible room. It was on the 3fl corner of building 4 (I think) not near the elevator! Now Im really curious because I thought someday when it was just hubby and I, I would like to stay in a "king" room again at POFQ. Although the door will no longer matter, it was still a really nice big room! Now I wonder if all the king rooms are as big ????:confused3 Oh well...it will be years before hubby and I are on an alone trip! I only got the quick trip last year because I attended at conference at the Dolphin and flew in early to have some fun on my own for 2 days before heading to the Dolphin (which I really liked too! Too bad you cant get a package with them)
