Hi. I am planning to take my mobility scooter on my very first cruise. :goofy: My wife and and I are taking a 3 night cruise to the Bahamas in June, including Castaway Cay on the Disney Dream. I am able to walk for short distances but have been told that getting off the ship to the tram is quite a walk. Has anyone used their scooter to get off the ship and take the tram to the beaches? Where would I park my scooter while I was enjoying my day on Castaway Cay. Thanks in advance.

I suggest contacting DCL Special Services. I believe they can arrange a golf cart from the ship to the tram. If your wife can push, another option is a beach wheelchair, though that won’t help much with the tram.

Enjoy your cruise!

I have parked my ECV on the edge of one of the concrete pathways near to where we got beach chairs without a problem. Take your key, of course.

A long time ago, but I had the same experience riding on the concrete sidewalks and pavements next to the beach and leaving it.
