Our child had an accident before our trip and will be in a walking boot. From what I’ve read they are not eligible for a DAS pass. Just wanted to hear anyone else’s experience and advice on how we can try and make the most of our trip. Thanks.
I would suggest you rent a wheelchair. There is a great deal of walking in Disney. The average guest will walk 8-12 miles per day. You can rent one from an off site vendor. They can deliver to your resort.
Depending on age, a wheelchair or stroller-as-wheelchair is likely your best bet. S/he can walk a bit if up to it and ride when not. The wheelchair can go through pretty much all queues, and at the few that aren't accessible you will be directed to an alternate entrance.
Definitely get a wheelchair or a stroller - walking 3-8 miles a day in a walking boot is not good! DAS only gives a return time to use the Lightning Lane; it does not help with getting to the attraction or getting around the park, or getting through the actual queue.

Also with a WC your child can walk as much as they want and you can push along side them or park it and use it when you need it.
I suppose your child is not super young because then aa stroller may work or you may need to ask about renting an off-site pediatric WC.
I saw several people with a walking boot my last trip a couple of weeks ago. I don't think you should have any issues with rides other than perhaps keeping it dry on something like Kali - might be a consideration.
