Mobilis ticket

Can you buy the Mobilis ticket up front or do you have to buy it on the day itself?
And do I have to buy at kiosk or a Machine? How easy is the machine with this? ( one i needed tickets for rer from val d'europe to MLV and took the wrong tickets) don't want that again.

Another question: We are going from sep 29th till oct 6th, what would be the best day to visit Paris?

Hello

A Mobilis can be bought when you want no need to wait till the day you wish to use it.

When you want to use it you just write your name and the date on the coupon before the first journey and the validity starts from there

I think (as it's been a very long time since I bought one) that you can't buy it from a machine. You have to go to a window for it or you can also buy them from certain tabacs

You need a zone 1 - 5 and it costs 14€ per person

For going into Paris anyday is good really depends on what you want to do as certain musuems are closed on certain days - Louvre on Monday, Musée d'Orsay the Tuesday and avoid the weekend where possible especially if you want to do any shopping as the shops are more crowded

We want to see Notre dame , Eiffeltour and Sacre coeur.
I thought i read somewhere that that weekend was a white night?? in paris, so maybe it is busier than normail around that weekend.

Totally forgot about the white nights And I'll miss them this year as we will be away ...1st and 2nd of October..and it's the 10th anniversary

They are great fun to do. Yes there will be more people around but it's after dark so you can go and see the rest in the day without too many extra people.

If you want to go up the Eiffel Tower buy your ticket asap on line as the queues for tickets if you just turn up are terrible and even worse at the weekend.
