Mobile Ordering

How does this work? Do you order and get a time to return and pick up your order? Can this be used on the corn dog little red wagon? I once waited 45 minutes there for a corn dog, so if you can use mobile ordering there it would be fantastic!

I think I answered my own question by going to the Disneyland app. I don’t see the corn dog cart as a mobile ordering option.

You can mobile order at Stage Door Cafe, they also have corn dogs. You can get fries or apples with the corn dog. =)

If you have the app, a login and attach your CC, you could practice with mobile order now. Obviously, just don’t confirm the order and go through to payment.

Click the “+” sign at the bottom of the screen and choose “order food”. Then select an “arrival window” for the location you want to order from. The arrival window is set up in half hour intervals and often starts at the time you are placing the order. Then place the order and when you’re nearby, select “I’m here, prepare my order”.

I thought of doing it, but it wasn't really worth it when the line wasn't too long. My understanding is that generally they don't have your order waiting at the window because some orders for hot/warm food can get cold if it's a 15 minute time window. But they'll get it ready ASAP as soon as you show up.

No worries, you’ll love it. Remember they don’t prepare your food until you hit the “I’m here, prepare my order” button so it won’t get cold.

Some swear by the corn dogs at a certain location being the best. I could not tell the difference....they were all fantastic at DLR.

It’s often the case that you can choose an immediate arrival window (for instance, the next half-hour). However, don’t get lulled into complacency by this and assume it will always be true. We built an attraction / FP plan one evening during Christmastime around the idea of getting candy-cane dusted Mickey Beignets at the Mint Julep stand. However, our plan got all messed up when we arrived in NOS and tried the mobile order, only to see that the arrival window was an hour out. We had to make two additional treks across the park to make our plan work.

Don’t worry about the food being fresh... you have to tap “I’m here-prepare my food” before they actually get your order together.

Great benefits include: skipping the line... ordering from multiple nearby locations... and getting your AP discount automatically applied.

Yes there is, they are clearly marked.

I think some locations have windows just for mobile orders. At least at the Mint Julep Bar the orders are taken outside and the orders are ready at the window. I thought that mobile orders just go to the window. Not sure about other locations.
