Mobile Ordering Question

1. To use mobile ordering, you need the WDW app (MDE) on your phone with a credit card loaded into it, right?
2. Do you need to have your ticket linked to that MDE?
The situation is: all tickets are in my MDE account, but my mom, etc. will be purchasing her own food. She doesn't currently have an MDE account. Will she need to set up her own account?

Unless you want to pay for it and let her pay you, she will need her own account. Once she makes her account, you'll need to make yourselves Friends and then she should be fine.

I don’t think you need a ticket to use mobile ordering. I think mom can set up an mde account and place her own order. If her ticket and fastpasses are in your account, i don’t think you need to be friends with her account in order for her to order food. Have her create an account and start the process of placing an order from home to see what happens.

You also could both download an app like venmo. You pay for your food and she reimburses you electronically.

That would not be necessary - if she's repaying us, then she'll use an old-fashioned check. lol
