Mobile Order vs Register

Mobile order seems to be all the rage at Disney right now (not to mention the stories about having to order hours ahead of time).

That said, is it still an option to simply go to the register and order food at QS locations? I'm assuming so, but with how things have been changing lately, you can't take anything for granted. Are there any locations that are ONLY mobile order?

Yes, it is still possible to order food at QS locations without using the app. In some locations you'll be met by a CM who can enter your order for you. In other locations you'll be directed to a register to order.

There are some QS that will let you order at the counter, but some are mobile only. Personally, I love mobile order. We put in our order while waiting in line early in the morning and have nearly no wait when we go to pick it up.

Wow! I haven't heard those stories.

On my most recent trip I would go to the place, find a table and then use mobile order. Got "Your order's ready" in under five. Sometimes under three.

Our last 2 trips, most of the time, they would not let you into the restaurant until your order was ready. I loved that as we had no problems finding a table as people couldn't sit and hold a table while somebody got in line to order.

It’s hit or miss on Mobile Order. At most places we had to place a mobile order, or we couldn’t get in the door, but it was a 20 minute wait at most. Even the places that would let us in to order at a register, tried to get us to mobile order first.
