Mobile order CS menus now? What gives?

Any guess as to why Disney is stripping the mobile order menus of some CS locations, but in reality those options are still there to order in person?

Streamlines the food preparation process. They can churn out the most popular items via mobile order in bulk.

Unfortunately, though, it frustrates a lot of guests-we're encouraged to mobile order(depending on the restaurant, almost required), look at the MO menu, and not see what we really wanted to order, so we go with a second choice. But then when we go in to pick it up, we see that the item that we had really wanted to order is available after all.

Well is there anywhere that has the real, up to date CS menus of these locations that we can access? This would be most helpful?

The official Disney menus online will be the closest you can get to what dishes are currently offered, I'd think.

The best solution is likely the obvious one: Go there and order at the counter if what you want appears on the menu in the restaurant.

It’s definitely true at Pop and Art of Animation. The mobile order is very limited as opposed to what the QS really have available.

I can’t recall if it was my stay at ASMu or Pop, but one of them had a note on the mobile order that additional items were available for in person purchase. It seemed to be the actual meals like pot roast that were not on MO, with only the sandwiches and pizza available to order in advance.

OK, so far only reports from the value resorts? No park QS? Guess that's why I haven't heard anything before.
