Moana, Elena and Inside out

Where in the parks can you find these characters? I know that Moana is new and I am not sure if Elena is meeting.

I believe that Elena is meeting in the MK with the princesses. Moana was not there last week so don't know if or when she will. Inside out - Joy and Sadness - are in EPCOT for now.

Elena meets with Cinderella on one side/line of Princess Fairytale Hall. Rapunzel and Tiana are the other line at Fairytale Hall. Just sharing to clarify that PFH, has two sides/lines and thus two separate FP+ options.

The meet with Joy and Sadness in Epcot is a really really good one. The set is really cute and they are just as you would imagine Joy and Sadness to be. I really recommend that one.

If you were looking for Moana at Princess Fairy Tale Hall you are correct, she's not there. She's at HS

Moana is at the very back of one mans dream. when you get to the back do not turn right towards the movie, keep going and you will find a cast member by a door frame. They will direct you inside. Also DVC booths in the park have Moana stickers.

Joy and sadness are found in the innovations building. You will take the green walkway towards The Land pavilion. the character spot is on the left side of the walkway and Baymax and Joy n Sadness are on the right side just before the fastpass booking area. when you enter Baymax is to the left and joy and sadness are to the right.

Slightly off-topic: does the FP+ reservation system / app specifically state what princesses are there? Or is it the luck of the draw who you're going to see?

I have seen it say Cinderella and a Visiting Princess. That said, It has been the same since Elena started greeting

The app now states:
Cinderella and Elena
and the other choice is:
Rapunzel and Tiana

We've found that even if it says "visiting princess" the one you want could be there. You just need to make it clear that you would like to meet that princess if possible. We did that at Disneyland. So if you ever see it and you know that someone you like usually meets there just say "Oh my darling princess is really hoping to meet Elena" and if she's there at all they will make it happen.

At WDW you aren't diverted to one princess, there are 2 clearly marked sides of the building. One side is for Tiana and Rapunzel, the other side is for Cindy and Elena. You will meet both princesses on your designated side.

I was under the impression from the way you are walked into the room that there are multiple sets of "Tiana and Rapunzels" and "Elena and Cinderellas"

So if there are 3 sets and 1 elena is sick, then they say Cinderella and visiting princess. You have a 2/3 chance of meeting Elena and 1/3 of visitors will meet "Visiting princess" Am I mistaken?

Thank you! We have literally never been to that building and always just walked on past on our mission to TSMM. Robo's maps are a true lifesaver. I would have struggled to find it on my own.

Yeah, the buildings are set up to look like huge sound stages. And last year, I went to Walt Disney Studios in Burbank with my CM friend - her ID allows her entry. Walking around all the sound stages was like walking around DHS!

In early January, Joy and Sadness took the better part of an hour to see just FYI, I wish there were fastpasses for them like there are for the Mickey/Goofy/Minnie Epcot character spot.
