Moana - Characters at Aulani?

The new Musker and Clemments film look likes it's going to be a smash hit and looks heavily based on Hawaii!

Would you guys want to see the characters there?

DD8 is already asking for Moana merch so I am inclined so say a definite yes! Perfect place for them, after all!

I hope so! We keep telling my niece if they are having casting calls for Moana, she NEEDS to go audition.

The skeptic in me says it'll just depend on how popular the movie is! But if there is some animal sidekick, seems like that would be what ends up at Aulani rather than face characters. Kinda like how Stitch is all over, but no Lilo.

Looks like Moana has a cute little pig for a buddy. Maybe I will wait until the movie comes out to plan a stay at the Aulani in hopes of some different characters

They've been slowly removing stitch merchandise from the store, my assumption is moana takes over aulani in sept/ Oct as they start advertising the movie

Not removing him, but they said his merchandise has been stale and diminishing for a while now

You will definitely see Moana merchandise in Kalepa's as the time approaches. The most popular item at Kalepas is Duffy and Stitch. Stitch is not going away anytime soon, they sell out of stitch dolls often. I know people kept asking for any "Lava" Merchandise, but we don't carry.
