Hi

We ar hoping to do MNSSHP this Oct but we are not sure which day. Is it possible to pay for the tickets at the gate. Do they ever sell out? We will not be going on Halloween itself, most likely the beginning of Oct.

Yes, you can buy them at the gate if they are not sold out. Usually Fridays towards the end of the month and Halloween night sell out. So if you go toward the beginning of the month you should be safe from a sell out but you will pay a bit more buying at the gate but you won't have to pay the $3 shipping charge.

As I understand it you can buy on the door and you should be alright in early Oct. We are going from 6 - 20 Oct this year and are planning on getting our tickets for Sun 16th. I have been advised to avoid weekend nights because they get really busy with the local taking their kids.

We were at the Oct 8 party, a Friday. It sold out, first sell out of th eseason I think! Luckily I had purchased our tickets in August. Could have something to do with how pleasant the temperature is then

We went last year to MNSSHP. We were scheduled to attend the 7th or 8th, but my daughter got the stomach flu about 4 hours before we were to be there and we called to see what could be done. They happily changed our tickets to another night, as they were still at "will call". However, they did mention during my call that I would probably be making someone else very happy, as MNSSHP was sold out that night. I was completely surprised, as it was way early in the month. Not sure what caused it, but in my opinion, don't try to go on a weekend, and buy your tickets beforehand.

I later heard that many of those who attended MNSSHP that sold out night were not thrilled with their experience due to the crowds.
