DH and I are going to MNSSHP our first night of our wedding anniversary trip. We have a PS at 6:20 at 'ohana and then MNSSHP...we were going to go to eat first then go back to our room at Grand Floridian to change into our costumes for MNSSHP and then head over...so we'd get there by 8...do you think that this is ok? or do you have other suggestions on how we might do this?:)

I would ask this in the thread at the top of the page. It has lots of great information regarding MNSSHP.

From everything I have read, you may want to get there earlier. First, there will be lots of people trying to get in and you may get stuck in a long line.

Also, you will have missed one hour of the party AND if the schedule is anything like last year then the parade will be starting around 8:30 and crowds will probably already be thick along main street.

However, since it is just the two of you (no kids) if you want to go at a more relaxed pace, then this plan may be fine. I think it all depends on how much you want to get out of the evening.

If you don't want to get there that late, try calling for an earlier PS at O'hana's - even if there is not one available now - keep trying they open up all the time.

Good luck in making your decision!
