The ticket prices for MNSSHP are very expensive. But I really would love to take the kids. Is it worth it? For our family it would be around $400. My kids are 8, 4, 6 months. Thoughts?

Totally depends on your family.

It's NOT worth it for us anymore. We don't care about the candy or the characters in their Halloween costumes. It's so busy that the wait times aren't significantly shorter like they used to be during the party. The only thing we miss is the parade and HalloWishes - to get my fix, I watch them on YouTube.

The upside is that you can get in at 4pm so if you're okay hanging out the rest of the day, you could do MNSSHP from 4-12 and save yourself a normal park ticket.

I'm sure your kiddos would enjoy it - but it'll be a long night (especially for your 6mo). I think it comes down to: if your kids can stay up late enough to make the party worth it and how much extra $ you have to spend.

My kids really liked it, simply because of the amazing amount of candy they walked away with. The party is a blast, especially the area around the Haunted Mansion. I wasn't as blown away by the parade as many are. If we did it again, I'd use the time to hit more rides as the lines are pretty non-existent during the parades and fireworks. Now you won't get your $$$s worth in candy alone, but the ability to hit a lot of rides in a short time, cool magic shots, and fun theming make it worthwhile for us. But seriously, bring your own (large) bag to take home all the candy you'll get. Really

I would wait until you know what kind of weather you will have. Should be bale to know the day before. Shows and parades can get cancelled or delayed without a specific time if there is rain. Fireworks can get delayed without a specific time if it's raining. If it's nice weather, then it is much more "worth it" than if it's raining.
