Which MNSSHP should we go to? Sunday (10/6) our arrival day or Thursday (10/10). This is the week before Columbus Day.

We will be attending the party on 10/6. I would think the 10/10 will be less crowded however.

I would go on the 10th. In order to get the most out of the party, you'll want to stay late - which could be difficult to do if you're tired from traveling.

We're doing Sunday the 6th. Usually we always end up doing the first or second Thursday of Oct, and those days have had fairly heavy crowds when we've been there. Due to our schedule this year only available slot was Sunday. Have heard somewhere that Sundays tend to have lighter crowds , so we are hoping!

Are you flying or driving? What time will you be arriving? One thing about going to MNSSHP on your arrival day is the possibility of travel delays. If you purchase your party tickets in advance, they are are non-refundable if something causes you miss the party.

Why do you think a Thursday party would be less crowded than a Sunday party? Personally, I don't think there'll be any significant difference, but I do agree with purple figment that going on your arrival day could be a problem if there are travel delays or you're just too tired from traveling.

We're going 10/10 too! Our first day is 10/6 and we are driving in so don't want to take a chance with travel delays or being too tired from traveling.

We arrive on the 5th, leave on the 11th or 12th.

The reason we picked the 6th is that if tropical weather or monsoon hits, we still have the 10th as a make up date. If we wait til the 10th and tropical weather hits, there is not make up for us.

It seemed to me they had Tuesday parties during fall break the past few years.

We're getting of the Dream on the 10th and were thinking of heading to the party that night because the 11th(FRI) will probably have bigger crowds.
