awww..:-( sorry to hear your friends backed out, we are there about a week before you...this will be our 4th year and love it... I think even if I had to go by myself i would just find a good costume and go it alone and still have a blast...hope you find a group to hang with though,,,,good luck...

I'd say I'd meet up with you, but I think you're going the week before me. I'm also going solo & undecided about mnsshp. I love it, but I'm not sure if I want to spend the money on it. The main reason for my trip is to be there for the 40th.
