OK. We are a couple who wish to travel to MNSSHP, but we are not sure if this is a party just for kids. You have done at this event? What advice they give us??:wizard:

the best part is the ride of the headless horseman that comes before the parade. it gives me chills. children and adults can trick or treat. we did and gave our bags of all chocolates to a family ewith 4 kids. i liked it for one time but i would not do it again.

The headless horseman starts off the special Halloween parade that they do for the MNSSHP. Be ready for him, he's fast.

MNSSHP is a blast. The Hallowishes fireworks are amazing. They have a villains meet and greet with some of the villains that are hard to find during regular park hours. There are special photo ops with this party : pictures at Cinderella's coach, pic with Snow White and all 7 dwarfs. I did the party solo in 2006. As a lone adult, I didn't feel out of place at all. I'll be at the Oct 26 party with three friends. Trust me, the party's for everyone - even the trick-or-treat lines.

Go, have fun. Don't worry if you don't have kids. Also, dress up if you want. Many adults do.

FYI: I just discovered that party + : will give you this party: on this message board. :teeth:

We've been to MNSSHP the past 2 years. The first year just DH and me and a couple of adult friends. Last year we took the kids, but they are 22 and 25. We all loved it. The parade is great and I really liked the fireworks too. You should definately do it.

Hubby and I are doing it kidless on 9/12. We cannot wait. This will be our third yr. going and we absolutely LOVE it.

:goodvibes We love it! The parade is fantastic and getting on the rides pretty easy is sweet!

Annual tradition for me! Absolutely LOVE it. The parade is the best- and if you go early in the season, you can walk on ALL of the rides without a wait! We are always able to ride splash mtn. and btmrr consecutively without having to get off and re-que!

Advice:
#1: Take a big fat nap in the afternoon. It's one thing to stroll around MK, it's quite another to run from one side of the park to another- you'll need all the rest you can get.
#2 : Don't go early if you're childless. The first parade is at 8 or 8:30- VERY crowded.... but the second parade is less so.
#3: Hit all of the fantasyland rides during the first parade.
#4: Parents with kids usually leave the park after Hallowishes...you will pretty much have free reign over the entire MK- uber cool :thumbsup2
#5: If you're the type (I know I am,) dress up!
