:tinker: :mickeybar Does anyone know what MNSSHP is like? My family thought about going because we are going to WDW in October and thought it migt be worth it.

we went in 2004 and it was very very good. Would deffinately recomend it to anyone. We went tick or treating and got lots of sweets and chocolate. Met lots of characters in halloween costume, and had a lovely free photo taken which was in our letter box when we arrived home.

My brother who was 10 really enjoyed it.

We would deffinately go again, i am hoping that Mvmcp is as good as were off there this year.

I would definitely recommend this one over the MVMCP. Most people dress up whether it be in a scary costume or just a princess costume, anything goes really. When we went they even had the glass coach out from Cinderella at the back of the castle. Don't forget to take something large to collect your trick or treat goodies in, at the end of the night they can't wait to get rid of the sweets.

MNSSHP is great fun. You get a trick or treat bag on entering the park and there are loads of T or T stops throughtout the park to collect goodies, enough to last the rest of the holiday;). The parade is great especially if you get the chance to see the headless horseman!

Lots of people get dressed up and the characters get dressed up too. Don't forget to get your free photo done at one of the locations throughout the park (they send it home to you and it's a great reminder).

You can pick up very cheap costumes at Walmart.

It is great fun ~ As previous posters have mentioned, if you are at WDW and can spare an evening it is a 'must do'.

Another fav of ours is HHN at Universal. This is more for adults than children as it is much more intense show compared to MNSSHP.

I went this October gone and was so glad i did. We did dress in costume (although its not compulsory;) but it definately added to the experience. trick or treating was a lot of fun, the special parade was great, lots of extra characters including tarzan:flower3: and the dwarves all together, fairly short ride wait times (only had to wait 5 mins for Speedway which is unheard of otherwise I wouldn't have done it) and just great lighting and atmosphere, highly recommend it:thumbsup2 Be warned, if you behave yourself and don't eat the candy straight away, it will weigh a ton by the end of the night! they give you loads!!!

This has got to be one of the best value things Disney does. Done it 3 times and would do it again if we ever go in October again. A lot cheaper than a day ticket but you get almost as long, I think ticket says around 7pm but last time we had no problem going in at 5pm and they picked us out on entry to sit on the Onmibus and wave to crowd before the parade. Earlier in the month the quieter the rides, closer to Halloween it can get quite busy.
First time we did it we just stayed on the rides like BTM with only a handful of people waiting to ride.
Dressing up does add to the evening but not essential.
