Anyone know what the dates are this year? Looks like MK is closing earlier than normal on Sept 29th...do you think this would be one of the days for it this year? Trying to plan our trip. TIA!

I'd say that's a good bet. The only other days they are closing at 6 that month is for the Night of Joy on the 8th and 9th so I'm planning my trip to be there for the 29th. We were at the first night party last year and it was a blast!

I believe they post official dates in May

Last year 'unofficial' dates were spreading around the Disney boards mid-April. They were officially released April 30.

There's a good chance the first party will be Sept 29...but you never know till they actually release the dates. I remember last year, a couple of 'unofficial' dates were wrong.

Sun, Tues, Thurs, and Fri

Last couple of years:

MNSSHP 2003 = Oct. 3, 5, 10, 14, 16, 19, 24, 26, 30, 31

MNSSHP 2004 = Oct. 1, 3, 8, 12, 14, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 29, 31

MNSSHP 2005 = Sept 30, Oct 2, 6, 7, 11, 13, 16, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30, 31

Thanks for the replies. We have never done MNSSHP and that is our last full night there. Kinda hoping it is that night so that we can at least think about doing it. Good Luck getting tickets for those wanting to go!

Our itinerary was all set to attend MNSSHP on Friday, September 30th. But I was on touringplans.com just now and their site says the first party is Sunday, October 1st. I don't know which one to believe and it's going to kill our itinerary to wait 'til May to get the official schedule.

Friday is the 29th.... If MK is closing at 6 pm on the 29th, hopefully they are likely planning on having that be the start date. Touring Plans would not know anything official yet so that could be why they are being safe and listing it as the 1st. The 30th had a big crowd last year so I don't see why they wouldn't kick it off on last Friday of Sept again. Of course we can't bank on anything until it comes from Disney but closing MK at 6 is a good sign so don't loose hope because of Touring Plans listing it as the 1st.
