Ok,

I've never been to MNSSHP, but am going this year when it is happening, so I am going to go!

We arent going to be getting in costume (just 2 of us).. but may get a silly hat or something. Will the CMs make fun of me if I am not in a costume?

I made 6pm reservations at Liberty Tree Tavern. Is that an ok time? They were booked for earlier than that. Will I miss a parade? when's the first one?

I'm confused on times and things I hear going on... what are the "dance parties" exactly? I don't think I'll be dancing, but I have no idea what these are.

Do adults go for candy too? I wont have kids with me.

Will the great pumpkin be there?

Will the CMs make fun of me if I am not in a costume? No. No one will say anything to you. We saw a lot of people not in costume. I wore a sleeveless jumper I made that had pumpkins all over it.

I made 6pm reservations at Liberty Tree Tavern. Is that an ok time? They were booked for earlier than that. Will I miss a parade? when's the first one? In 2005 the parade times were 8pm and 10pm. If you miss the first one you can catch the second instead.

Do adults go for candy too? I wont have kids with me. Yes! Every person with a ticket gets a trick or treat bag. Everyone gets candy.

Will the great pumpkin be there? I'm not sure what the great pumpkin is. There is the headless horseman who will start the parade though.

I don't think anyone will make fun of you!

We're going in early October & it's a surprise trip for my girls...so I was just going to make them Halloweeny t-shirts. Besides last year when we went, it poured, & it was a pain having our costumes on quite honestly!

I don't like eating during the party....so you should be fine. The party technically doesn't start till 7, so enjoy your dinner!

YES you will get candy !!! LOTS OF IT

&There is a giant Mickey pumpkin at the entrance....but no Charlie Brown, the GP is not there!

Enjoy!

Thanks for the replies. I was just getting confused with all the info out there... my head was hurting.

No Great Pumpkin! I guess it's another year where I will miss him. I sit out every halloween waiting in the great pumpkin patch... Hey.. anyone seen my blanket???

:)

Does anyone know why there are two prices for the MNSSHP tickets? For instance, Oct 26 prices are adults=$39, child=$31 and then on Oct. 27 prices are adults=$45 and child=$38 ??
sorry if this has already been discussed.

The higher price is the ammount each party is if you purchase the tickets at the gate. Disney offers advanced purchase on most nights (with the exception of the last few nights surrounding Halloween) for a discounted price.

Due to the high demand they do not offer a discount for the later dates although you can purchase them in advance.

Hope this helps!!
