We are off to orlando next week and have already brought 7day premium tickets.

I have heard alot about MNSSHP, is this really worth paying extra for? Its not that I'm a skinflint, its just I begrudge paying again when we already have entrace tickets!

Although if its really that good............?? :confused3

hi
i thought this before we went but i have to say we had a great time  they only let a certain amount of people in so you don't really wait that lon for the rides and the kids had a great time collecting treats (you get givin a bag upon entry) and you also get a free photo and the parades were brilliant :cheer2: i would say definatly get your tickets you will have a great time :)

i personally thought it was well worth it :) if you can do it then i would

Absolutely!

On our last couple of trips in October this was the only time we bothered with MK; it's such a great evening. About 50% of people dress-up, so there's no pressure if you don't want to. If you do, check out places like WalMart, SuperK, Target - all these do really great costumes for around $8-10 for kids and $15-20 for adults. We've got a number of costumes at home from our trips and they are great to use again for our halloween parties :sunny:

It's a completely different atmosphere in the park. Try and get there early. We've spent 4-5 hours in Typhoon Lagoon, then back to hotel for another swim for water-mad DD :goodvibes , grabbed some food then got into MK around 5 - 5.30pm. You're given a wristband to wear and told which part of the park to gather before they close it to the public. It's a great way of going on the rides with no queues at this time.

The Headless Horseman starts off the parades, which are pretty cool as the characters are wearing halloween type costumes.

There are trick or treat stations all over the park - you WILL come back with a bag full of sweeties, you get a free photo done (make sure you request a copy for each member in your party :) ).

When are you going? My DB and his family are off on the 25th and they've got MNSSHP tickets ordered over the phone and collecting at will-call in the park since there are so few left.

We enjoyed this and if you have children it's a really fun(and Safe!) way of them expereicing trick or treat. I wont agree to my DS going out at home so he loved having the opportuntiyt ot collect traeats and tell jokes.
People make a real effort with costume, i wished i had brought some from home as struggled to find costurm at disney that were big( or cool enought for my DS 10). We did manage eventually( with lots of my black eyeliner to comlete the look!) best wishes, Ruth

Am I right in thinking the MNSSHP ticket is not in addition to normal park entrance, ie, you don't have to use a day ticket in addition to your MNSSHP ticket for entry?

Guess what.........

IVE ONLY GONE AND BOOKED TICKETS FOR MNSSHP!!
 :cheer2:  :cheer2:  :cheer2:

Thanks for all your feedback - very convincing (did i really need the excuse!) :rolleyes1:

We fly out on the 28th and are partying with Mickey on 30th, I too am
picking the tickets up from WILL-CALL as its too close to send them!!! :teeth:

So I off to rearrange the itinerary! DH, DD, MIL and SIL dont know but
we were planning to dress as the adams family to it will be a great surprise for them :flower:

unfortunately we haven't been at WDW for a halloween party, though i very much wish we could attend...
however we did happen upon the Night of Joy, another special evening event that requires a separate ticket....as other posters have mentioned, the fact that the number of participants is limited makes the crowd level bearable...
and Disney is so amazing at doing special events, i'm sure that the halloween party must be wonderful fun....the Night of Joy was spectacular and well worth the price of the ticket...

Just got back from WDW and we went to one of the MNSSHP's. It was absolutely brilliant, some of the costumes were astounding, people must have been getting ready for hours! Hallowishes is one of the best fireworks displays around and the parade is very cool, especially the gravediggers! We came back with about a year's supply of candy as well, I made sure to get my money's worth! All the MK is lit up in green, orange and pink so it looks very strange. We missed the headless horseman sadly but saw everything else, we're still awaiting our picture in the post. It's very good if you like villains as most of them are out and about for pics and autographs.
