MNSSHP with DVC discount

it's been awhile since I attended any of the special parties. Is there any reason, other than the $10 discount, to purchase MNSSHP tickets under my DVC?

I ask because when I looked up the cost of tickets on Disney.com, they were $10 cheaper than when I went under my DVC account. So just wondering if there is any other DVC perks for the party before I order my tickets.

They shouldn't be cheaper under the general Disney account than with your DVC login. Party prices vary greatly from one night to the next. Make sure you're comparing the same dates, making the same adult / child selection with both, and that taxes and fees are included. DVC members and pass holders should definitely see a rate that's $10 less than the general public. Though the discount only applies on select nights.

I called member services and I was able to get the $10 discount. As a follow-up question, when I went to MVMCP several years ago, party-goers could get in at 4PM (just like with MNSSHP). But DVC members were able to get in at 2PM. Is that still available to do or is 4PM the earliest?

4:00 is the earliest. They did away with the 2:00 DVC early admittance.
