MNSSHP with DVC Discount Question

Hi everyone!

I purchased our tickets for MNSSHP yesterday with a DVC discount. The CM said that with the DVC discount the tickets were will-call only and must be picked up at guest relations so we can show our DVC membership ID. I was hoping we'd be able to get them by mail ahead of time(you know, adding to the excitement and all...), but the CM said there was no other option. Is this the norm?

I didn't know there was a discount for DVC owners. I was just about to order my tickets for Oct 17. What was the discount? I would think this would be the norm to prove your an owner. It would probably be nice if we could order through the DVC website after login.

I believe the discount was 10%. We were charged $70.20 for two adult tickets going September 15. I believe that the discount is available only on certain dates, but then I've also read otherwise...

I agree that it would be great to be able to order these via the DVC website with the discount...perhaps they will do this in the near future....you know, after we've already purchased ours over the phone

When you order getting the AP/DVC discounts you must show that you actually qualify for the discount so that is why you must pick them up at Will Call.

If you want the tickets now, you can forefit the discount and get them delivered for $3.

Personally I like Will Call. 1 - I won't forget to pack the tickets. I have actually done that before, forgot to pack the tickets. Luckily we were spending a few days at dh's grandma's house prior to our trip and I had my mom FedEx them to us.

And 2 - You don't have to pay shipping
