mnsshp & wishes???

i know that mk closes early on certain nights in october because of the mnsshp.

does anyone know if on the nights that they do the holloween party, they still give a fireworks show? on the calendar on disney's website, it only shows what they do during the regular operating hours. but i was wondering if they still do a fireworks show the night for the mnsshp?

so that maybe if we are eating dinner at 'Ohana's or something that night, we can still be able to see the fireworks show in the sky?

any help would be much appreciated!

Yes, they do a special "Halloween" version of the fireworks show. It is usually at 9:15pm on party nights. They do the normal fireworks from the MK launch site, but they also do 360 degree perimeter fireworks that are launched from all around the park.

Wishes is incredible-- but the MNSSHP are just a bit more over the top. I'd try to see both if you can during your trip. It's really a site to see.

Last year MNSSHP fireworks were NOT Wishes but a variation of FITS. BUT this could have been because Wishes was just introduced last October and they just didn't have enough time to switch it to Wishes at the MNSSHP. MVMCP fireworks were changed to Wishes last year though.

Just and FYI - if you are planning on watching the Fireworks during MVMCP or MNSSHP, last year they did not pipe in the music to 'Ohanas. You were able to see the fireworks but not the music or naration. The fireworks are wonderful but the music really adds to the whole experience.
