It almost feels like everyone dresses up as something Disney related. DH and I are dressing up as a surgeon and a patient... I'm starting to get an eery feeling we'll stick out like sore thumbs.

Reassure me! Please! :earboy2:

DH and I both dressed as surgeons (scrubs, masks, hats, booties, etc.) and my mom dressed as a nurse.

We were fine. There were probably more adults not in any costume than there were in Disney costumes.

Relax, and enjoy your trip!

I'm going as Cleopatra and my husband as a Wraith from Stargate Atlantis. That's pretty un-Disney ;)

We saw a lot of non-Disney costumes last year, so I wouldn't worry about it!

As for us---I've got two fairies & a dinosaur going this year (my eldest didn't want to dress up, but has relented to wearing Stitch ears if we can find them). As for the adults, it's just better if we stick to our regular clothes. :rotfl:

We're not dressing Disneyish either...well except for youngest dd.

Dh is going as a tourist  , I'm going to be a medieval character, oldest dd is a basketball player, middle dd is a rock singer, and youngest dd is Cinderella.

My ds will be a regular old alien (not Stitch) and my dd will be a cheetah girl. Not a cheetah bat. Not a cheeta. A cheeta girl. :rotfl2: She will have a little skirt and cape out of cheetah material and a sequined black and gold top. She very IN to fancy. My son just wanted a green alien costume. I think he's more excited that I said I'd paint his face to make it look like he has three eyes.

Dh and I will not be dressing up.

We are all going dressed as pirates. Well, DS & DH are definately pirates. I am either going to be a pirate too, or the lady in the red dress in POC. "We want the redhead!"

As much as we wanted to do something Disney - we thought there would be too many Disney costumes at MNNSHP.

One of my DD's is going as Wednesday Aadams and the other is going as a sort of "glamour" witch :rotfl:
No disney costumes here.....

Add two more adults not going as Disney characters.

You will see a lot of kids dressed up as characters, but most of the adults are something not related to Disney. Last year I was a vampire and DH was a Orange Country Chopper employee (aka he refused to wear a costume and just wore an OCC shirt  )

We were there last night, and were saying that there were definitely more people (adults & children) dressed up this year compared to last year.

We did see some Disney costumes, but actually not quite as many as you'd think/expect. And some of the adult costumes were absolutely amazing! My DH saw one guy dressed as what looked to be Caesar? Looked really cool.

People watching is usually fun anyway, but with all the costumes, it was a blast! :cool1:
