MNSSHP - What kind of candy?

Ok, I know this seems like a stupid question, BUT we want to go during our visit next month and the type of candy they give out could turn the tide in our favor (we're bringing 4 friends who aren't sure they want to go)! So, how about it?! Who's been there before and can tell me what kind of candy they give out?

Good name brand candy, lots of miniature chocolate bars especially!

When I went last year the was a lot of Laffy Taffy, I believe Tootsie Rolls and then also the regular mini name-brand chocolates.

They also had some Natural Fruit snacks as well.

But yes most brand name bars ,pixie sticks,&taffy.

Then before and during the parades they hand out the chocalot wrapped it Tinfoil.

OH and did I mention LOTS OF IT

Hit Toontown to Tomorrowland path late at night it seems Alice's cards and such don't want to bring back any candy in their big teacups so it's handfuls a plenty.

Wow, Great Pic jjan!!! I showed my DH2B and he said, "we can't eat that!" (we've both been working out a lot and watching what we eat for the upcoming wedding)

I just said, " we're at WDW, we can do whatever we want!!!)

Then I read the next post and told him that there were natural fruit snacks... He can have those and I'll eat all the chocolate!!!

Glad to see they have chocolates! My 7 year old has a palate expander right now and she can't have any sort of laffy taffy, chewy candy, gum etc. She has been really excited about trick or treating at MK but has been worried if they would have candy that she can eat. So this will make her very happy!

Thanks for posting that pic! WOW, DS is lookiing forward to some TorT, but I don't want him to get too much, we'll be there in Sept & it will melt on the ride to the airport, lol!

Just look at all that candy goodness... we ended up with 7 1/2 pounds of candy, that's sickening! Can't wait until Sept 15th when we attend MNSSHP again! WHOO HOO.

We (family of 4) went last year and ended up with soooo much candy! I stashed most of it and didn't have to buy any to hand out at home!

I love the Banana Laffy Taffy but they also give out "Now & Later" 's, also a favorite. Usually they never make it out of the park. Mickey's Toon Town is a good place to score a lot of candy quick!

One of the hidden treasures is the the back walkway from Toontown to Tomorrowland (near the RR tracks). They have tons of candy stops there. Also, if you find candy you like just get back in line again. I love the large chewy Sweet-tarts. What a great time.

We wound up with lots of M&M's and Skittles the year we went. We had a few other things but those seemed to be the biggest hit.
