MNSSHP... we are chickens!!!

we all dressed up when we went 3 years ago, i was a pumpkin :rolleyes1 dh was a pirate eldest dd a grease girl and other dd a medieval princess. we bought all our costumes in K-Mart and they were so cheap as well!

WE GOT OURS FROM EBAY...if you want i can pm you a link :)

Nat can you pm me the link as well! Ta!!

Trust me you won't feel out of place whether you dress up or not, but you do have more fun if you get dressed up.

My partner and I were worried when we went for the same reasons but finally we decided to get dressed up and it was a blast!

We wen't as Snow White and the Wicked Queen and it really made the evening.

Here's a list of some of the things that happened:

Got asked for autograph (twice)
Got asked for directions
Got to pose with Wicked Queen
Had lots of characters interact with me during the parade (including the musicians on the Haunted Mansion float worshiping me and Snow White screaming when she saw me and running away).
Lots more interaction with other guests (people just stopped and chatted).

All in all, I would recommend dressing up, but it's not a big deal if you don't.

My post count is too low to add a link, otherwise I'd show you our outfits.

please please post some more, I would LOVE to see your costumes, they sound fantastic:thumbsup2

I've been to MNSSHP twice before with my partner but we've never got dressed up. This year we're going with my parents. it'll be their first MNSSHP so we've decided to take the plunge! I'm going as Captain Jack Sparrow (Official disney adults outfit purchased from ebay) and my partners going as a cowboy. My mums going as Captain Janeway from Star Trek Voyager (she's a big fan) though we've yet to convince my dad to dress up. We're working on it........

Love the pics and costume ideas everyone.:thumbsup2

We are going to our first MNSSHP this year. I absolutely love Halloween! We are all going in similar outfits and have a theme but it's a secret, LOL. All costumes will be hand made by my mum, and I. All in all there are 7 of us, me, DH, DD10, DD7, my mum, dad and sister. Can't wait!! :cool1:

I know the secret:rolleyes1 , I got my costume at weekend ordered from Disney shopping Davy Jones and DW got Jasmine

Where is everyone getting their costumes??

Walmart they are loads cheaper than buying them here.
We bought our's here last year but when we looked in walmart they were so much cheaper wish we had left it till we got there. We are buying ours out there this year.

£5-6 for delivery not a bad price i think. At least you have them in your hand and you havent got to pick them up.:cloud9:

Yes its personal choice, I won't spend £5 on something that I don't need to, walk past guest relations every day while there so prefer to pick up and save the money.:goodvibes

Sorry did'nt mean to sound harsh...

We only paid $3 shipping for our halloween party tickets and AP vouchers! Not bad when i got $2 to the £1 exchange rate on my Nationwide CC!
