MNSSHP vs MVMCP

Given the choice, which would you choose to go to and why? I've never seen either one. Me and my Sis are going next year and I thought I'd let you guys help me on this one!

Is it odd for two adults to go to one of these? Neither one of us have kids but both seem like they'd be a lot of fun!

Well, I love them both but if I really had to decide, I'd pick MVMCP hands down.

I've done both and would love to do both every year but instead we are alternating.

I love MVMCP because I love xmas stuff. I love the decorations, the music, the atmophere, the snow on Main Street, the parade, the special shows, the fireworks, the hot choc and cookies, the free souvenir photo, the souvenir button, the characters in Xmas costumes etc... GREAT fun.

I love MNSSHP for the decorations that you ONLY see at the parties, the trick or treating, the parade that you only see at the party, the cute Halloween music piped in, the fireworks, the free photo etc...GREAT fun too!

You would NOT feel out of place AT ALL!

They are BOTH fantastic and unique !!

You can't really compare one to the other because of that..... but I must say that the Christmas Party is a little more "over the top" in decorations and just the overall atmosphere......
There is nothing like the SNOW on Main Street !!

Hope that one day you can try them both !!

I can't decide between the two either, since these are two of my FAVORITE holidays.

Both had atmosphere and great decorations. I'm usually not into parades, but I absolutely loved the halloween parade, was ok with the Christams one (will probably not be too sad if I didn't get to catch that particular portion of MVMCP if we ever got to go again).

Even as a disney freak, I was kind of skeptical when we first bought our ticket to MNSSHP, but after that we were HOOKED and proceeded to go to MVMCP the next year!

And just to let you know, we are two adults, and one of us flies in form abroad to attend these events. They are fabulous!!!!

MVMCP is my favorite event at Walt Disney World. I just cry off and on the entire night. I love the parade and the decorations and the snow on Main Street USA the hot chocolate and cookies, everything about it.

This IS a tough choice. They are both beautiful. However, there was something about the Halloween Party that I liked a little better. I can't really put my finger on it. I definately liked the parade better. The only way I can really explain it is that when I walked around the park at the Halloween party, I felt the Halloween spirit throughout the whole park. I did not feel the Christmas spirit throughtout the whole park. I am not sure why, maybe it could just be because I am from the north and it does not feel Christmassy to me unless it is cold. I do not think you could go wrong with either party though. Just try not to go on a Friday night. I went to the Halloween Party then and it was packed, but I loved it anyway.

Been to both and loved both. Would say mvmcp wins by a nose for me though since Christmas is my favourite time of year. You may want to consider what else is going on in the world (Disney World that is lol) at those times to help with your decision too. In October/early November you have the food and wine festival. In December you have all the Christmas events. Both are awesome to me but you may have a personal preference between those two.

You'll have a blast whenever you decide to go!

Oh and btw I don't have children yet so don't feel odd about going without! There are many people at both without children. It's fun for everyone!
