MNSSHP - Villian's Mix & Mingle Show

How long is the Villians Mix and Mingle Show? I know that they have 4 shows during the party.

Am i guessing right that the later shows are better to go to as far as taking pictures with the Villian characters?

The show itself is 8-10 mins long and then the characters hang around after for about 20 minutes. Because there was only one show this past Friday due to rain, I haven't heard anything about which ones have the smallest crowd. Also be aware that after the 9 o'clock show (I believe that's what I was told, it could be another one) the villains don't come down to mingle because of the fireworks immediately afterward. Some friends told me that after the show they only do pictures, no autographs, but then a little birdie also told me they are back in Fantasyland at 7pm at the start of the party and DO sign then. Just in case getting autographs is on your must have list.

That's right. After the shows (in front of the castle) is only pictures with the villians.

That's interesting to know that they are in Fantasyland to start with. I've been trying to work out how to fit the Villains thing in, as we haven't ever seen some of them. We can't stay too late, as DS6 will be asleep. But the earlier shows kind of mess with my plans for getting good parade and firework spots. Obviously if the 9pm one they don't mingle, then that's an easy one to avoid. I'm leaning towards hoping to catch some of them in Fantasyland.

By the way, which Villains are at the show?

By the way, I've seen Queen of Hearts outside with the White Rabbit at the Mad TeaCups during regular park hours.

There are 7 villains: Maleficent, Captain Hook, Queen of Hearts, The Evil Queen, Frollo, Jafar, and Cruella DeVil.

I want to know this too. I know this sounds corny , but we've always called my Daddy the Big Bad Wolf and on one of my first WDW vacations as a child I bought him a Big Bad Wolf plush. Since he is going with us this time, we were kind of hoping he could meet his alter ego. Did anyone see the Big Bad Wolf at the party the other night?

Sorry to say, but Big Bad Wolf is cut from this year's Mix & Mingle (the reason being is, I've been told, they have dancers this year in the show). You can still see him in the Boo To You parade, however.

For those who have been to this year's MNSSHP, did you think this was a show worth seeing or is it mainly just to introduce the characters as they come out for a "mix and mingle"/meet and greet. I have some in my party who are interested in getting pics with the characters and others who would rather go do something else unless it is a "worthwhile show" to see first. By worthwhile I think they mean something along the quality of a typical castle show, even if it is a bit shorter than those.

I didn't go to last year's MNSSHP, but I got the impression the characters basically just came out and danced to the "Its good to be bad" song from the parade. Is that accurate or is there more to it?

Good grief! This is depressing! Big Bad Wolf is not in the Villains mingle? And the villains aren't even signing autographs by the Castle? I can only hope things improve, as this party sounds like a clone of last year but with even less characters! I was hoping for a tad more creativity from Disney, but I guess it may not happen.

Well, there were dancers in last year's version of the Mix & Mingle (those 4 hot red-headed vixens dressed in black and red), yet the Big Bad Wolf was in it too. I don't get it.

Care to elaborate on that any further?

I was very unimpressed with those Villain Mix and Mingle "dancers" last year. I had one sign my autograph book, and she wrote "Villians Rule" - she misspelled Villains!! If you are going to be a signing character, probably be a good idea to spell your identity right! I rather have Big Bad Wolf anyday!!
