MNSSHP tix: advance or night of?&more

Hello! 8 of us, all adults, are going to the party on the 14th, should we buy our tickets in advance or when we get to WDW on the 11th? Is there a price difference? Is there an AP rate? Does that night typically sell out? It will be the tuesday after Columbus Day and I know that weekend is usually busy.
None of us have ever been to it. Is the whole park open, or is it more like E-Ride nights?

I would order them online now. I'm not sure about a price differance, but some dates do sell out. It probably won't happen that early in the month, but why risk it? I don't think there are AP rates either. MNSSP is getting more popular each year. Also, check out Deb's site for more info.
