MNSSHP-Tips, Tricks, Secrets newbies should know (from the 2009 party!)

Loving all the tips and info here! It sounds like so much fun. We are still undecided if we are going or not though. I am not sure how my kids will handle it!! I think we will wait and see how they handle a day or so in the parks, and if we go buy our party tickets once we get there.

If you're on a multi-day ticket, I'm thinking you can go to guest relations and add an extra day for around $3.....i

Where it gets expensive is if you didn't already buy a 4 day ticket. I think that's the point where it gets cheap like that...

On our last trip, we originally had a 3 day myw package. On our last morning, we wanted to make a quick trip to MK on the last day. Dh went to the desk at WL, and he was able to add another ticket for each of us for $7 each. Hope that helps!

Oh no... I just purchased the tickets and they're not refundable! I'm not going to pay twice to get into the park the same day! What am I going to do now?

agree with pp, if you already have a multi day ticket it is so cheap to just add another day. If not, I'd personally skip doing the Pirate thing that night.

Just curious as to when the second parade begins..we're trying to get our "plan" together for that evening, and it looks like we'll have to grab something quick to eat during MNSSHP. I was thinking that a little before the 2nd parade would be a good idea.

Anyone have a general idea as to the time it begins?

Usually the parades are at 8:15 and 10:30, with HalloWishes fireworks at 9:30.

I had the same question...from 4 - midnight there is a strong chance we might need to leave for a little bit to go by the hotel (the gf) and hurry back....would we be able to re-enter? If not, of course we won't be leaving...but I was wondering if we would have the opportunity, if needed.

Ohhh I LOve this thread! im only 1/2 way through. We are going for our first party on 9-25. Im soooo excited! The only problem is we are going for a short trip and we promised our DS's surfing lessons and the only day they are available during our trip is the same day as the partyso we need to be at TL at 6:45 and we plan on staying for a few hours after for the kids to do slides ect. Im planning on getting back to the resort in the early afternoon to nap then well be up sooo late!Its scarier than the headless horseman!Do you all think this is a crazy schedule? It is making me very nervouse!

I think the surfing lessons are at 6:45 in the morning, not the evening.

Ok, that's a little better...I'd say around mid-afternoon go back to your hotel and take a nap and relax. Then head out to the party around dinner time and grab a quick counter service meal in the park and enjoy the fun!

I heard I should get a separate MNSSHP photopass that night, but will I be able to combine the two passes on the one cd I buy? And where are the photopass photographers located at the MNSSHP? TIA

Yes. Get the "special" MNSSHP Photopass as you will get a discount with it as well.

Yes, you can combine more than 1 photo pass on a CD.

And there are photographers all over the park!! You will not miss them. We got ours at the entrance. A great photo-op with the pumpkins in the background
