MNSSHP ticket prices

I believe I paid around $62 for my ticket last year. Could be off by a dollar or so.

So... we are planning to attend it either Sept. 20th or Sept. 23rd. I assume the 23rd, a Tuesday, will be better? Right?

Is the ticket price also the entry to MK or will I need a valid theme park admission as well? (Hearing co fusing this GS about when people with a party ticket will be allowed to enter MK the day of the party which made me wonder if the MNSSHP ticket would be entry).

How much of a hassle/wait will it be to meet Rapunzel with Flynn Ryder? My 6 yo wants to meet him so bad but I don't want to waste half the party waiting him...

Any other suggestions/advice? T will be my, DH both DD's 4 and 6 years old

You only need the party ticket if you enter after 4:00p. Rapunzel and Flynn are popular, but you can mitigate the impact to party time by lining up for them before the party starts, maybe around 6:00p (they start appearing at 7:00p).

With a party ticket, you can enter the MK at 4:00 (historically, and there's no reason to think this will change). You can use a regular park admission to get in before 4:00 if you want to, but a party ticket is all you need to get in at 4:00.

We waited less than a half hour to meet Flynn & Rapunzel last year. We lined up around 6:40. The princess M&Gs seemed to be better run with shorter lines in 2013 than they were in 2012, but it may have been because The Nightmare Before Christmas characters were at the 2013 parties and they were a huge draw.

If they're your #1 priority (like they were for us) just line up before the party (lines started to form right around 6:30) and you should be in and out without using much party time at all. :thumbsup2

In a change from 2012, last year they didn't start setting up the party queue for the prince and princesses until around 6:30. They were shooing away people who tried to line up before then.

Sorry to hijack. If I have 7 day base tickets and go to Hollywood studios that morning. In theory my party ticket will still get me into MK for the party after 4, correct?

Yes, your party ticket is completely separate from your regular ticket. We always do DHS the morning of our party. :goodvibes

I think this policy changes a lot, even nightly. In any event, if they don't let you formally queue when you arrive then lurk until they do. :thumbsup2

Thank you to both of you :)

It's like my one day to park hop then. Lol
Although need to go back to hotel to change into costumes!!

Our typical plan for party day is to get to DHS 30 minutes prior to opening (since they let you in a bit early). We do a few rides/characters, and if we are in the mood for lunch there we eat around 11:30 and then head back to POP, but if we are in the mood to eat at POP, we will stay in the park until 12 or 12:30 and then head to POP for lunch. Around 2:00, we get dressed and are at the bus stop no later than 3pm. That way we get in the park right at 4pm.

I am so sorry about hijacking this thread . I thought I made my own individual post but accidentally posted it in here my apologies :/

The MNSSHP ticket is the entry to MK. No normal admission ticket is needed.

We went 2013 and will be going again this year.

I want a picture with Jack Skellington. Also; I think you could just watch for the headless horseman then go about your business. The parade is kind of boring (it's ok I guess).
MNSSHP is great since the crowds are low... You basically have the park to yourself as the evening winds on.

YGBKM! It's the best parade WDW offers. ;)
