MNSSHP Solo

I'm thinking of going to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party this year, but I'll most likely have to go solo. I've gone to WDW solo before so I don't mind, but there's one thing that I'm not sure about. How would I go about getting pictures with the characters by myself? I've skipped the character pictures when I've been solo before, but from what I've read about MNSSHP, there are lots of unique photo ops, so I'd definitely like to get a few of those. So I'm wondering what the best way to approach this would be. Is there usually a CM there willing to do that? I know they do the Photo Pass thing, but I was hoping for something on my own camera too. Thanks for any advice!

I have gone to WDW solo and I've done the MVMCP solo, I have found that people in line or even just in the area will take a picture for you. Usually the characters will also have a handler and they will always take a picture for you. Just don't be afraid to ask someone to take the picture for you.

You won't have any problems. This is especially true later in the night when the tired kiddo's end up leaving early or falling asleep.

In fact, the very end of the night (even after the park has offically closed), you can often see some of the rarest, most popular villians in front of the castle. Last year Maleficent and Cruella were standing there with short lines (4-5 groups each), and they were ALL adults, and some may have been solo (we don't generally wear a sign, LOL).

The Villians are my favorite, and that's why I love MNSSHP - they are the only characters I care to "meet" as an adult.

Great, thank you for the tips! Waiting for pictures towards the end of the party sounds like a good plan too.
